Hybrid Battery Lifter
A clamp system, fixed to a knuckle jib for picking & placing spare wheels into line side cars mounted onto a bespoke telescopic column.The loader was fitted onto a overhead rail system.
A bespoke solution required for picking a hybrid battery from a delivery shooter and placing into a car whilst continually moving down the assembly line. The cycle time being 59 seconds between cars.
An extending clamp system for picking Hybrid battery’s from a restrictive access transport stilage onto a shooter system. An air balancer fitted to an XY gantry system provided the main lift.

A plc controlled, bespoke calibrated test rig, specifically designed to confirm the applied force of the brake peddle and activation position of the brake switch. Incorporating an interlock function in the event of a test failure.
A pneumatically operated clamp tooling designed to accommodate two differing configurations.The tool incorporated part position detection along with clamp confirmation allowing for line side installation.
